Keen Bros Partners with North Metropolitan TAFE
Keen Bros. Driver Training is proud to be working in partnership with North Metropolitan TAFE, delivering the practical truck driver training component of a program designed to create stronger pathways into the transport and logistics industry.
The program combines vocational training with practical, hands-on driver experience, giving participants the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence needed to move towards a career behind the wheel.
The partnership was recently highlighted during a visit from Amber-Jade Sanderson MLA to the North Metropolitan TAFE Logistics Training Centre, with Channel 9 News there to capture the program in action.
Training built around real industry needs
The transport and logistics industry relies on capable, job-ready drivers. That means training needs to go beyond simply meeting assessment requirements.
Through the partnership, Keen Bros. brings practical heavy vehicle driver training and direct industry experience to the program, helping participants understand what is expected when they move from training into the workforce.
Working alongside North Metropolitan TAFE creates a clear connection between vocational education and practical driver development, giving participants a stronger foundation as they prepare to enter the industry.
For Keen Bros., it is also an opportunity to contribute to the future of an industry we know well.
We’re proud to play our part in developing skilled drivers, supporting new career pathways and helping more people become ready for real work. We look forward to seeing the program continue to grow.
